A Little Prose

Things were blurry and fast, they began to slow, the feeling was there and I knew, we kissed. You put your arm around me and squeezed, the air left my chest with one quick motion. My body relaxing and with my eyes shut I whispered "I love you". My heart settled down, slowed and began beating at a life changing pace. My mind quit and I fell to sleep.

I never slept so soundly.
